other NINE INCH NAILS: UNDERGROUND: GOTT
Gott was formed with the idea of an industrial and dark band, but before Gott other projects existed (we never officially published an album, we only worked for ourselves), first Dark Sessions in 1998 which mixed electronic and dark sounds with rare samples. Then we created something more industrial: God in 1999 (to find the name for the band, I thought of the most powerful word on the earth, and I said: God . The Echo), something more similar to the current but not so defined. Finally we changed the name of God to Gott (God in German) because it sounds better. Influenced essentially by our past, finally we found our road. Now it is time to change some things by showing what we can make.
