tour info:
after the downward spiral was released in early march of 1994, the longest tour by nine inch nails was ready to begin. a small number of club dates followed by two rehersals in las vegas sketched out the setlist which was finalized when the band finally hit the road. not only was this the longest tour, but it had the longest setlist as well, featuring material from pretty hate machine, broken, and the downward spiral. it was still obvious that trent was working out some of his frustrations through the live shows. a number of injuries resulted from the tour, often alongside the destruction of many instruments.
